AOGS 2026

The 23rd annual meeting of the Asia Oceania Geosciences Society will bring together thousands of geoscientists across diverse disciplines at the Fukuoka International Congress Centre, Japan. The event is expected to attract approximately 4,000 participants from around 50 countries, making it the largest international geoscience conference in Fukuoka since the COVID-19 pandemic.

AOGS is one of the key annual gatherings for the space weather and solar-terrestrial physics community in the Asia-Pacific region, with dedicated sessions covering solar physics, heliospheric science, magnetospheric and ionospheric research, and space weather impacts. It provides an important complement to the major Western conferences, with strong representation from research groups across Asia, Oceania, and beyond.
