Heliophysics in Europe Meeting 2026

The European heliophysics community will gather September 21-25, 2026, at ESA ESTEC in Noordwijk, the Netherlands, for the third Heliophysics in Europe workshop. This meeting brings together researchers studying space plasma physics throughout the solar system, from the Sun and solar wind to planets and small bodies, including space weather phenomena. Organized by ESA’s Heliophysics Working Group - established in 2021 to coordinate scientific discussions across ESA’s directorates - the workshop continues the successful format launched in 2023, fostering connections between Europe’s heliophysics community, ground-based observers, data archiving activities, and ESA’s ongoing and planned missions. Following 2024’s hybrid format that included the first European Heliophysics Community Meeting, this year’s gathering promises to strengthen collaboration across this active and diverse scientific field.
