European Space Weather Week 2026
The European Space Weather Week (ESWW) will take place in Florence, Italy, from 2-6 November 2026, bringing together scientists, engineers, satellite operators, and space weather service providers from across the globe. As the main annual event in the European Space Weather and Space Climate calendar, ESWW2026 will explore this year’s theme of “Data-driven and physics-based cross-scale space weather,” highlighting advances in understanding space weather processes from large-scale coronal mass ejections to small-scale energy dissipation in Earth’s near-space environment. The highly interdisciplinary conference welcomes researchers and end users from diverse fields including spacecraft operations, telecommunications, navigation, power distribution, aviation safety, and civil contingency planning, while promoting exploration of new technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning. The event offers attendees an opportunity to discuss the latest solar and space weather developments and collaborate on strategies to mitigate their impact on Earth and technology.
