Solar Wind 2026
The triennial Solar Wind Conference covers all aspects of solar wind and heliospheric physics, focussing on current research as well as future directions. Held every three years, it is one of the most focused and prestigious gatherings in the field - an essential event for the space weather community.
With the Sun evolving from solar maximum, Solar Orbiter measuring the solar wind from a high-latitude vantage point, Parker Solar Probe completing multiple perihelia within 10 solar radii, and IMAP in its science phase at L1, the timing promises an exceptionally rich meeting with many new results.
Science themes include coronal processes and solar wind acceleration, transients in interplanetary space, energetic particle acceleration and propagation, global heliospheric structure through the solar cycle, and solar wind microphysics.
